Since Matthias first flew a paraglider in 2012, there has been nothing else in his life. He is a full-time tandem pilot and flight instructor, and trains paraglider pilots at his high-altitude paragliding school, Valley Wind Paragliding. He has worked for various flight schools in Germany and abroad during his career and has made more than 5,000 flights.

Heinz Zwyssig

Heinz started flying air taxis in St. Moritz in 1984. He has already completed over 15,000 flights and trained almost 600 students. He has been hang glider world champion twice. For many years, he was coach of hang glider , which became world champion in 1999. In the summer, Heinz trains hang glider paraglider pilots for Luftarena GmbH in central Switzerland, runs advanced training courses, and organizes flying holidays.

Daniel Wälti

Daniel has been flying hang glider since 1986 hang glider was one of the first paraglider pilots in Switzerland. He has completed 14,000 flights. In the summer, he works as operations manager at Paragliding Interlaken and takes guests on daily tandem flights in the Bernese Oberland.

Find out about scheduling, equipment, and much more before you take off.

Where do we take off and land?

We take off from below the Corviglia mountain station every hour on the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
We land on the frozen Lake St. Moritz near the sailing club.

Paraglider or hang glider?

What is the difference?
With paragliding, the passenger sits in front and the flight is somewhat slower.
With hang glider, the passenger sits next to the pilot, the flight is somewhat more dynamic, and the experience is more exclusive!

On skis or on foot?

Skiing is the easiest way in winter.
If the wind is right, foot launches are possible—otherwise, we offer the "sled launch" option for paragliding flights.

What should I wear?

Ski clothing is ideal.
For pedestrians: Warm clothing, sturdy shoes, and sunglasses.
Helmets are provided free of charge.

Who is it for?

No prior knowledge or special fitness is required. There is a weight limit of 110 kg for paragliding guests and 90 kg for hang gliding passengers. Children aged 4 and above can also fly with the consent of their parents.

What if the weather is bad?

The weather can change quickly. If the flight cannot take place due to weather conditions, it will be postponed or refunded.
